The letter for a soldier

Hello, dear soldier. We are the children from the centre of the non– school work "Svitanak". We study many things there. Once our teacher told us about the war and she asked us "Who is a soldier?". We have a lot of variants. Please, help us to answer this question. Some of our pupils consider, it is a man in a beautiful green form and who can handle with weapon. But our teacher asked us to think more deeply and after a short discussion we understood everything.

In our opinion, a real soldier is a brave and courageous man, who loves his Motherland, who is proud of historical actions of his nation, who has a strong desire and aspiration to defend his country.

Many boys from our group want to be soldiers. They understand that it is a sacred duty of each man. These words sound strange for some people. But we want to see our Motherland free, to be free, we want to see happily faces of our relatives and friends. And all this will be possible, if we have courageous soldiers and live without the war.

We want to say thank you and your parents. We are sure they admire of you, proud of you, wait for you and so we are. Please, write if we have true ideas or not. Thank you very much. Good-bye dear friend and good luck in your hard and courageous work. Best wishes,
